Mobiis Co., Ltd. Wins Contract to Build AI-Specialized Smart Factory for Autech Corporation

[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Mobiis Co., Ltd.(250060)announced on the 7th that it has signed a contract with Autech Corporation, an automotive and trailer manufacturer, to build an AI-specialized smart factory.

The contract amount is 415.91 million won, equivalent to 8.2% of last year’s standalone revenue. The contract period runs from the 10th of this month through May 9 of next year.

Under this contract, Mobiis Co., Ltd. will carry out the project to build Autech Corporation’s artificial intelligence (AI)-based intelligent smart factory. The contract will be executed using Mobiis Co., Ltd.’s in-house production methods, and payment will be made in three installments: 30% after the commencement report, 30% after the interim report, and 30% before the final report. The remaining 10% is scheduled to be paid during the intensive after-sales service period following project completion.

Mobiis Co., Ltd. is a company that supplies accelerators, nuclear fusion control systems, and smart factory solutions. Recently, it has been expanding its related business, including the launch of AI-based smart factory solutions. Autech Corporation is a company specializing in the manufacture of automobiles and trailers. Under this contract, Mobiis Co., Ltd. expects to enhance the efficiency of production processes and improve quality competitiveness by building a smart factory utilizing AI technology.

Mobiis Co., Ltd. also stated that the contract amount excludes value-added tax (VAT) and that the contract term and amount are subject to change depending on the progress of the project.
