Criticism from netizens also poured in online. Shin Dong-yup also emphasized his affection for Daehak-ro performances. “Daehak-ro is a very meaningful and special place to me,” he said, adding, “I’ve been deeply moved and inspired by watching countless masterpieces in Daehak-ro, such as *Subway Line 1* and *Finding Kim Jong-wook*. That’s why I’ve always held the Daehak-ro stage and the performing arts in high regard and with great respect.”
