According to their agency, SM Entertainment, on the 7th, the title track “Blingy” from their 7th full-length album—set for release on the 24th—is a hip-hop track that blends distorted synths, intense drum beats, and chanting choruses. By combining elements of Rage and Dubstep, they have created a powerful sound that embodies NCT 127’s unique identity.
The lyrics embody the group’s energy and confidence as they charge forward relentlessly, like a massive blaze. Marking their 10th anniversary since debut, NCT 127 conveys a message that they will continue to blaze their own trail, drawing on their pride in the identity and performances they have built up over the years.
Concept content designed to build anticipation for the comeback has also been released. “BLINGY JETS,” unveiled via official social media on the 6th and 7th, depicts the members as a “neo-pilot crew” inspired by a jet squadron. Through cinematic visuals, the content intuitively showcased the new album’s concept by highlighting the members’ unity—as they move as one team despite their distinct personalities—and their high-octane energy.
