Since taking his first steps as a rookie, he has established a unique presence over the past decade by expanding trot into a form of popular music that transcends generational and genre boundaries. Cheers.” The photo shows Im Young-woong holding a cake. Lim Young-woong debuted on August 8, 2016, with the single “I Hate You.” He subsequently rose to fame after winning TV Chosun’s “Mr. Trot” in 2020, securing a broad fan base and growing into one of Korea’s leading solo singers. His success has continued steadily. His first full-length album, “IM HERO,” released in 2022, achieved million-seller status in its first week and spawned numerous hit songs, including “Just Trust Me Now,” “Love Always Runs Away,” and “My Love Like Starlight.” In 2024, he set a new milestone in the concert industry by holding his first stadium concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. Marking the 10th anniversary of his debut, Lim Young-woong continues to set new records.
