[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] TV personality Harisu personally revealed the circumstances behind her divorce from her ex-husband, Miki Jung, and dismissed the various rumors that have surrounded her.

Appearing on TV personality Ahn Sun-young’s YouTube channel in a video released on the 7th, Harisu candidly shared her thoughts on her marriage, divorce, and the allegations of domestic violence that have long dogged her.
Harisu, who married Mickey Jung in 2007 and divorced him in 2017, said, “We were together for about 11 years,” adding, “We didn’t split up because we were on bad terms; it was a choice we made for each other’s future.”
She revealed that she was the one who first proposed the divorce. “Watching my husband build his own life through his business, I felt I needed to let him go so he could live under his own name, not mine,” Harisu explained.
She also confessed that her inability to have children was one of the reasons she decided to divorce. “My in-laws gave their blessing to our marriage even though they knew the full situation, but since my husband was an only child, I always felt guilty,” Harisu said. “I also hoped that someday I would see him meet someone else, have children, and live happily.”
She also drew a clear line regarding the long-standing allegations of domestic violence. Harisu clarified, “The story that I assaulted my husband and went to the police station is not true,” adding, “We got along well throughout our marriage, and if something like that had happened, Miki isn’t the kind of person who would have just stood by.”
She went on to say, “Even when we separated, we were supportive of each other and agreed to go our separate ways,” reiterating that she and her ex-husband decided to divorce on amicable terms.
