[Edaily Reporter Kim Kyung-eun ] #SANIL ELECTRIC is trading higher in early trading on the 10th. This is interpreted as reflecting expectations of an increase in new orders for data centers, following the company’s record-high second-quarter revenue.

According to MP Doctor, as of 9:04 a.m. today, SANIL ELECTRIC is trading at 180,900 won, up 23,600 won (15.00%) from the previous trading day. This is interpreted as a result of continued positive outlooks from the securities industry following the company’s strong second-quarter performance.

SANIL ELECTRIC announced on the 7th that it recorded consolidated revenue of 164.2 billion won and operating profit of 62.0 billion won for the second quarter of this year. These figures represent increases of 28% and 34.3%, respectively, compared to the same period last year, with revenue setting a new all-time quarterly record.

IBK Investment & Securities raised its target price for SANIL ELECTRIC from 180,000 won to 220,000 won today. This reflects expectations of expanded orders for special-purpose transformers used in data centers and other applications. The firm maintained its “Buy” rating.

Kim Tae-hyun, an analyst at IBK Investment & Securities, stated, “Following the company’s official registration as a Bloom Energy vendor, follow-up orders for data centers have been coming in steadily,” adding, “In Europe as well, orders for renewable energy projects are increasing based on the acquisition of new customers, and robust demand for special-purpose transformers is expected to continue.” He further explained, “In the U.S. power grid market, demand for high-specification products is expanding, and efforts are underway to secure new utility customers.”

Son Hyun-jung, an analyst at Yuanta Securities Korea, said, “We note that order intake is growing faster than revenue,” adding, “Given that orders from Bloom Energy are recurring rather than limited to a single project, we believe the company’s position as a vendor within the data center on-site power generation value chain is solidifying.”
