[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Eric, a member of the group THE BOYZ, has joined Grid Entertainment.

Grid Entertainment announced on the 10th, “We have signed an exclusive contract with Eric.”
Eric has been active as a member of THE BOYZ since 2017. Since January of last year, he has been hosting Season 4 of MBC FM4U’s “Idol Radio.” Grid Entertainment is home to the group PAW and members Lee Sang-won and Lee Rio of the group Alpha Drive One.
Grid Entertainment stated, “We will spare no effort in providing full support so that Eric can fully showcase his talents and grow on even bigger stages.” Eric expressed his determination, saying, “Based on the experience and lessons I’ve gained through my activities with THE BOYZ, I will show you many new sides of myself and my potential in the future.”
Meanwhile, Eric’s group, The Boyz, notified One Hundred Label (One Hundred) in February of their intention to terminate their exclusive contracts, citing reasons such as the label’s failure to fulfill its obligation to pay settlement funds. Subsequently, in April, the court granted a preliminary injunction filed by the nine members of The Boyz (excluding New) to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts with One Hundred.
On the 6th, the nine members of THE BOYZ released a statement announcing that they plan to continue their group activities through a new label and pursue individual activities by signing separate contracts with companies that will allow them to maximize their respective potential.
