[Edaily Reporter KIM EUN KYOUNG ] SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION’s Construction Division announced on the 11th that it will launch “Everling,” a living solution that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to manage seniors’ health and detect warning signs of risks such as falls.

The name “Everling” is a combination of “Ever,” meaning “always,” and “Linking,” meaning “connection.” It embodies the concept of connecting seniors’ daily lives with professional care. SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION has been testing the solution at premium senior living communities and specialized senior care facilities since last May and has completed trademark registration and the launch of a dedicated app.

EverRing is a platform that integrates health, lifestyle, and operational data scattered across facilities and analyzes it using AI to support personalized care for each resident. Its goal is to enable facility operators to reduce repetitive administrative tasks and focus more on resident care and emotional connection.

The service consists of three solutions: △Wellness Coach, △Safe On, and △Living Manager.

Wellness Coach uses camera sensors (rPPG) that detect changes in blood flow and sleep sensors to monitor physical and sleep conditions non-invasively. It also analyzes data collected from wearable devices and on-site health centers to provide health coaching—including mindfulness and cognitive decline prevention—through a dedicated app.

Safe On utilizes ambient sensors within each unit and AI-powered closed-circuit (CC) TV cameras within the facility to detect abnormal signs—such as reduced activity, falls, and wandering—24 hours a day. It supports facility operators in responding quickly when dangerous situations arise.

Living Manager integrates and manages facility operation data, including residents’ health trends, safety information, complaints, meal plans, and announcements. It also utilizes AI agents to identify residents requiring priority care and automates repetitive tasks.

Evering is currently in operation at premium senior residences and care-oriented senior communities, including “The Signum House Gangnam” in Jagok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and “Caring Stay Uijeongbu Arboretum” in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province. Planning and consulting services are underway to implement the service at “Uiwang Medical Residence,” currently under development by Hamilly in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province.

Cho Hye-jeong, Executive Vice President of SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION (Head of the DxP Division), stated, “A new, digitally-based care model is essential to address the challenges of a super-aged society facing a shortage of care workers,” adding, “We will expand the scope of Evering’s application and strengthen collaboration with specialized startups and companies to build a future-oriented senior care ecosystem.”

With the launch of Evering, SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION plans to accelerate its expansion into “soft business” sectors—such as platforms—beyond construction. By adding Evering as its third platform—following “Homeniq,” a home platform for apartment residents, and “Bynd,” a building platform for office users—the company has expanded its business scope to include the senior care sector.
