This certification marks NCT WISH’s first Platinum achievement in Japan. It is particularly significant as it confirms their success with physical album sales, following their strong performance on major local charts. Released on the 15th of last month, the single topped the Oricon Daily Singles Chart immediately upon its release. Among the two title tracks, “YO-I-DON!” reached No. 3 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. This single combines NCT WISH’s refreshing style with music familiar to Japanese audiences. “Yoi Don!” is a lively track that captures the excitement and determination of a new beginning. The other title track, “Boy Meets Girl,” is a remake of the hit song of the same name released by the Japanese group TRF in 1994, reimagined in NCT WISH’s unique style. NCT WISH will appear on TV Asahi’s “Music Station” (MUSIC STATION) on the 28th to perform “Boy Meets Girl.”
