(Photo courtesy of SH Gold Networks)(Photo courtesy of SH Gold Networks)According to music production company SH Gold Networkson the 12th, the third track from the “J-Pop Remake” project, “Blue Coral Reef,” performed by Lee Soo-hyun, will be released at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th via various online music platforms. “Blue Coral Reef” is a reinterpretation of the hit song of the same name released by Seiko Matsuda in 1980. Lee Soo-hyun, beloved for her clear voice and delicate emotional expression, has reinterpreted the song—which blends a refreshing melody with lyrics capturing the flutter of youthful love—in her own unique style. The “J-Pop Remake” project is a music initiative in which K-Pop artists reinterpret and perform classic J-Pop songs. Singer and TV personality Gangnam serves as the project’s producer, and a key feature is the adaptation of the original lyrics into Korean. Previously, Taeyeon and Han Roro performed remakes of Tsuki’s “Banquet Song” and Yoko Takahashi’s “The Thesis of the Cruel Angel,” respectively.
