Com2uS Corporation announced on the 12th that it recorded consolidated revenue of 157 billion won and operating profit of 7.2 billion won for the second quarter of this year.

Driven by the solid performance of its flagship titles—including “Summoners War: Sky Arena” and its baseball game lineup—Com2uS Corporation’s consolidated operating profit rose 420.7% year-over-year in the second quarter, while its standalone operating profit also increased by 149.5%.

Revenue decreased by 15% year-over-year due to lower revenue from subsidiaries and a lack of new game releases.

Sports revenue increased by 11.4% compared to the same period last year, driven by steady growth in KBO and MLB baseball games.

Cost efficiency also drove the rise in operating profit. Total operating expenses for the second quarter amounted to 121.6 billion won; Com2uS Corporation stated that, despite it being the peak season, these expenses decreased by 30% year-over-year due to efficient promotional operations for live games. Additionally, with the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) across company-wide operations, personnel expenses decreased by 2.3% year-over-year and 8.2% quarter-over-quarter.

Com2uS Corporation plans to expand its growth momentum in the second half of the year by continuously strengthening the competitiveness of its existing flagship titles and launching highly anticipated new games.

First, the blockbuster MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) “Zeus: God of Hubris” will launch in South Korea on the 26th, marking the company’s push into the second-half gaming market. Developed by Averton and published by Com2uS Corporation, “Zeus: God of Hubris” features an epic world based on Greek mythology, high-quality graphics, diverse competitive and progression systems, and a high level of user convenience.

On the 7th, the company held a showcase introducing the key content and service plans for “ZEUS CO., LTD.: God of Hubris,” which drew intense interest as tens of thousands of gamers watched the live broadcast. Building on the MMORPG development capabilities of Averton—led by CEO Kim Dae-hwan—and Com2uS Corporation’s proven service expertise, the company aims to provide a differentiated gaming experience and establish “ZEUS CO., LTD.: God of Hubris” as the leading hit title of the second half of the year.

The baseball game lineup will also enhance its competitiveness in the second half of the year by expanding updates, events, and esports content aligned with major schedules for each league. “Summoners War,” which continues to enjoy solid popularity thanks to its 12th-anniversary updates and promotions, will also work to strengthen its global fanbase through the “Freiren of the Funeral March” collaboration, the large-scale growth support season “Sky Fever,” and the “SWC2026” global esports tournament, now in its 10th year.

Com2uS Corporation stated, “We plan to strengthen our foundation for mid- to long-term growth by continuously expanding our lineup of new titles based on leading global IPs, including the dark fantasy turn-based RPG ‘Doyonamgwi: Crimson Inferno,’ based on a popular Japanese anime, as well as ‘Gachiakuta: The Game’ (working title) and ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.’”
