In particular, revenue from the gaming division fell by about 8%, and the overall decline in revenue was exacerbated by the exclusion this quarter of one-time licensing revenue related to the resolution of the “Legend of Mir 2” IP royalty dispute, which had been recognized in the previous quarter. Consequently, operating profit turned to a loss compared to the previous quarter.
Compared to the same period last year, revenue decreased by approximately 7%. The operating loss narrowed from approximately 28.5 billion won in the second quarter of last year to approximately 21.0 billion won, thanks to cost-cutting measures such as reductions in personnel expenses and advertising and promotional expenses.
Cumulative revenue for the first half of 2026 was approximately 261.6 billion won, a slight increase from the approximately 258.7 billion won recorded in the first half of 2025. The operating loss for the first half was approximately 12.5 billion won, a significant reduction from the approximately 39.9 billion won recorded in the first half of last year, driven by ongoing cost-efficiency efforts.
