[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] #BIOBIJOU Co., Ltd. announced on the 13th via its semi-annual report that it recorded consolidated revenue of 17.9 billion won, operating profit of 5.3 billion won, and net income of 5.4 billion won for the first half of 2026. (Photo courtesy of BIOBIJOU Co., Ltd.) On a consolidated basis, second-quarter revenue totaled 9.9 billion won, operating profit 2.7 billion won, and net income 2.5 billion won. These figures exceeded the securities industry consensus (market forecasts) by 21% for revenue, 35% for operating profit, and 56% for net income, marking an “earnings surprise.” The trend toward a turnaround in performance is also evident. Second-quarter revenue and operating profit increased by 24% and 4%, respectively, compared to the previous quarter. Year-over-year, revenue rose by 60% and operating profit by 69%, demonstrating steep growth. Underlying these strong results is the company’s strategy to diversify its global sales. In particular, the expansion of cosmetics sales in the U.S. market drove this growth. Sales in the U.S. during the first half of the year reached 7 billion won, accounting for 39% of total revenue. Analysts attribute this success to the expansion of online sales channels in the U.S., as well as the company’s efforts to penetrate offline channels through partnerships with major pharmacy chains and the operation of pop-up stores. Expectations for performance in the second half of this year and next year are also high, driven by new business initiatives and efforts to secure global certifications. “Cellivion,” the ECM Skin Reviver launched in earnest this year, continues to sell well in the domestic market, and preparations are underway for its entry into overseas markets. Furthermore, following the acquisition of a filler product license from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety last March, the company is expected to secure additional filler certifications in major overseas markets such as Europe, China, and Brazil next year. BIOBIJOU Co., Ltd. official stated, “The outlook for the second half of the year is bright, thanks to expanding cosmetic sales in the U.S. market and the successful launch of our new ECM business,” adding, “Once we secure filler certifications in major overseas markets next year, the diversification of our global sales will accelerate even further.”
