Hints at Refreshing Energy with Debut Song “Last Train”
[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Splayit, a band formed from members of “Steel Heart Club,” officially debuts today (the 13th). Combining the teamwork they demonstrated on a survival show with music they created themselves and visuals that capture the spirit of youth, they are turning the first page of their own story. Splayit (Photo: LM Entertainment·Kakao Entertainment) According to their agencies, LM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment, Splayit will release their debut album “SPLAY: CHAPTER 01” at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. Through this album—which serves as the starting point for the musical world they will explore—they plan to fully showcase their identity as a “growing teen band.” S-Split is a five-member band formed through Mnet’s *Still Heart Club*. The group consists of vocalist Yoon Chan, drummer Eun Bin, keyboardist Kyung Wook, guitarist Aiden, and bassist Eun Chan. They proved their potential right from their first “Club Audition” by being selected by all the directors with QWER’s “Addicted to Worrying.” On their debut album, they’ve taken a step further to expand their musical autonomy. The members participated in the arrangement and performance of the double title track “Domino,” and Yoon Chan and Kyung Wook also contributed to the composition. The key point is that the band, which began as a competition act, has grown into a group that creates its own music. Their visuals also clearly define the group’s identity. With all members sporting blonde hair and school uniforms, S-Split has established an image that is both fresh and full of personality. By evolving their “school band” origins into a sophisticated teen concept, they’ve strengthened the connection between their music and visuals. The title track, “Last Train,” was written, composed, arranged, and produced by Green Bottle Headquarters, led by Lee Mu-jin. A key point of interest is the synergy that will emerge from the combination of their signature rhythmic and refreshing sound with Esplit’s bright and free-spirited energy.
