CP SYSTEM reported consolidated revenue of 6.8 billion won, operating profit of 1.9 billion won, and net income of 1.8 billion won for the second quarter of this year. Revenue increased by 32% year-over-year, while operating profit and net income rose by 166% and 512%, respectively.

Cumulative revenue for the first half of the year reached 12.1 billion won, a 19% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit rose 104% to 2.4 billion won, while net profit increased 224% to 2.9 billion won. Both revenue growth and profitability improved significantly in the second quarter.

This improvement in performance was driven by increased semiconductor-related revenue from its Chinese subsidiary. In the second quarter, the Chinese subsidiary’s revenue rose by approximately 74% compared to the previous quarter. The company explained that revenue in the local semiconductor market is growing significantly as it expands supplies primarily to major Chinese semiconductor equipment manufacturers, including NAURA, and Changxin Memory Technology (CXMT).

In addition to semiconductors, CP SYSTEM is expanding its cable chain customer base to include robotics, shipbuilding, and rechargeable batteries. The company is broadening its business portfolio by securing stable revenue from existing industries while responding to growing demand in high-growth sectors such as semiconductors and robotics.

Further growth in the semiconductor sector is expected in the second half of the year. This is because domestic and international semiconductor companies are continuing to expand production facilities and invest in new production lines in response to growing AI demand and the recovery of the semiconductor industry. CP SYSTEM supplies cable chains not only to major domestic semiconductor manufacturers but also to companies in China and Taiwan, and therefore expects that the increase in demand for semiconductor equipment will lead to improved financial performance.

A CP SYSTEM official stated, “Semiconductor-related revenue is expanding rapidly, led by our Chinese subsidiary, and stable growth is continuing in key downstream industries such as robotics, shipbuilding, and rechargeable batteries.” The official added, “As domestic and international semiconductor companies continue to expand their investments in production facilities, we expect the pace of revenue growth to accelerate further in the second half of the year, particularly in the semiconductor sector.”
