In Episode 95 of JTBC’s “Divorce Reflection Camp,” airing on the 13th, the remaining household investigations and counseling sessions for the 23rd season’s “Ramen Couple” will be revealed, along with the story of the third couple.
As the husband’s side of the story is revealed, the studio is once again left in shock. In the wife’s segment, she claimed she had suffered horrific abuse, stating, “My husband tied me up and assaulted me while I was pregnant” and “He slapped me out of the blue.” However, as the true nature of the violence gradually came to light amid a heated debate over the facts, the studio was met with an unexpected twist.
Lee Dong-gun, who had previewed the husband’s side of the story, revealed that he was “so shocked” he even paused the video for a moment.
On top of this, the chaotic home environment—where there was barely room to stand—and the neglect of the children, who appeared to be struggling with proper care, were also exposed. Seo Jang-hoon, who had been observing the children’s daily lives, finally burst out in frustration, saying, “Shouldn’t they at least live within the bounds of common sense?” When the conflict with her husband persisted even after the home investigation concluded, the wife eventually went so far as to ask the production team to let her leave the camp.
The atmosphere takes a turn during the couples counseling session with expert Lee Ho-seon. Even before the formal counseling began, the wife burst into tears she had been holding back. Attention is now focused on what childhood wounds the wife has buried deep within her heart, and whether the couple can bridge the emotional gap between them and bring about change.
The household survey for the third couple also begins. The panelists are left bewildered by the appearance of a “yes-man” wife who grants her child’s every request, and a husband who sulks at every turn, whining, “It feels like I’m not needed in this house.” The husband, who shows no interest in childcare and takes his wife’s sacrifices for granted, even shocks everyone by stating, “I regret having a second child.”
“Divorce Reflection Camp” is a program that follows the stories of couples seeking to refresh their lives. Recently, Jin Tae-hyun left the show and Lee Dong-gun joined the cast. “Divorce Reflection Camp” airs on JTBC this Thursday, the 13th, at 10 p.m.
