According to MP Doctor on the 14th, POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd.’s stock is trading at 3,150 won as of 9:14 a.m., up 7.14% from the previous trading day.
Earlier today, POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. announced that for the first half of this year, it recorded consolidated revenue of 46.6 billion won, operating profit of 4.6 billion won, and net income of 6.2 billion won. Revenue increased by 56.9% (16.9 billion won) compared to the same period last year, while operating profit and net income also rose by 7.2 billion won and 11.3 billion won, respectively, marking a significant improvement in profitability, including a return to profitability. The cumulative results for the first half alone have already surpassed last year’s full-year performance.
The trend of improved performance, which began in earnest in the first quarter of this year, continued at a rapid pace into the second quarter. Along with revenue growth, profitability was further strengthened, driving overall growth for the first half of the year.
The key driver of this earnings growth is the substantial increase in supply volumes to “Amazon.” POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. is expanding its product supply to Amazon sites worldwide, including its U.S. headquarters, as well as Europe, India, the Middle East, and Japan. Additionally, increased supply of warehouse and logistics products to “Zabka,” Poland’s largest retail company, also contributed to revenue growth.
POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. explained, “Supply volumes are surging due to the expansion of Amazon NOW and Quick Commerce businesses,” adding, “The adoption of our devices is rapidly expanding beyond fulfillment centers to various applications in the last-mile (final delivery) segment.”
The outlook for the second half of the year is also positive. The company stated that it is in the process of securing orders for additional Amazon projects and that the adoption rate of devices in the U.S. last-mile service sector is accelerating. In particular, with the new “PM84P” model expected to be adopted as part of a replacement project for approximately 400,000 devices currently in use at existing logistics centers, the company anticipates that sales to Amazon alone will exceed at least 45 billion won this year.
