[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Singer Kim Da-hyun will release her new album, "Emoticon," on the 14th.

This album features a total of five tracks, including the title track “Under the Tree,” as well as “Ocean,” “The Weather’s Strange,” “Did I Give It Away?,” and “Butterflies.”
The title track, “Under the Tree,” is a ballad for which Kim Da-hyun personally wrote the lyrics and composed the music.
Through her agency, Hyun Company, Kim Da-hyun said, “Thanks to my fans’ enthusiastic support and love, I was able to endure and overcome difficult moments,” adding, “I wrote this song thinking of my fans, who always stand by my side unwaveringly, like a tree with deep, unshakable roots.”
Kim Da-hyun also participated in writing the lyrics and composing the track “Ocean.”
Kim Da-hyun explained, “It’s a ballad about the moments when I find comfort in gazing at the sea,” adding, “I poured my hope into the song that everyone who listens will let their hardships and pain flow out into the sea and fill their hearts with happiness and hope.”
Kim Da-hyun has previously appeared on TV Chosun’s “Miss Trot 2” and MBN’s “Korea-Japan Singing Championship.” All tracks from the new album, along with the music videos for “Under the Tree” and “Ocean,” will be released at 6 p.m. today via various online music platforms.
