[Edaily Reporter KYUNG GYEYOUNG ] Mamonde, a beauty brand operated by AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION(090430), launched new "makeup-friendly" suncare products on the 14th that enhance makeup adhesion.
The new products, “Flora Glow Rose UV Protector” and “Pore Control Peony UV Protector,” contain key ingredients from Mamonde’s signature skincare lines, Rose and Peony. They not only block UV rays but also help makeup adhere well to the skin, ensuring it lasts for 24 hours.
The Flora Glow Rose UV Protector is an ultra-lightweight sun care product that utilizes AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION’s patented technology to form micro-bubbles without gas. It is characterized by its ability to adhere thinly and evenly to the skin, applying smoothly without stickiness or clumping. The Pore Control Peony UV Protector is a purple-tinted, skin-brightening suncare product that controls excess sebum and oil while naturally correcting yellow undertones in the skin.
A Mamonde representative stated, “We focused on the fact that sun care has evolved beyond simply blocking UV rays to become the first step that determines the overall finish of makeup,” adding, “We’ve created two variants—‘Rose’ for a dewy, radiant finish and ‘Peony’ for controlling excess shine—so customers can choose based on their skin concerns and desired makeup look.”
The two new products will be available sequentially through major online and offline channels, including Olive Young, Naver, and Amore Mall.
