[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] #HALLACAST Co.,Ltd, a company specializing in future mobility and robotics components, continued its steady growth in the first half of this year, driven by expanded sales of automotive parts for export. The company plans to accelerate its revenue growth in the second half through expanded production capacity and the mass production of new components, such as those for robots.

HALLACAST Co.,Ltd announced on the 14th that it recorded cumulative consolidated revenue of 89.58 billion won and operating profit of 4.75 billion won in the first half of this year. Revenue increased by 16.6% year-over-year, while operating profit decreased by 33.3% over the same period. The operating profit margin stood at 5.3%.
HALLACAST Co.,Ltd Reports Preliminary Sales of 155.9 Billion Won Last Year… “Cumulative Order Backlog Reaches 1.1 Trillion Won”

According to the company, first-half performance exceeded the business plan it had set for itself at the beginning of the year. Sales of automotive parts for export—which entered full-scale mass production this year—have been steadily increasing, driving earnings growth. With a stable order backlog in place, the company expects to maintain this growth momentum in the second half of the year.

Expansion of production infrastructure is also underway. Construction of the second plant and the remodeling of Building D at the first plant are proceeding with the goal of commencing operations in September. Although the completion date has been slightly pushed back from July to August due to extreme heat and a ready-mix concrete strike, the company explained that this will not affect the schedule for equipment delivery and installation.

In the second half of the year, once the new plant begins operations, the company plans to accelerate the expansion of its mobility and robotics components businesses. New robot components that have completed development and mass production preparations will be supplied according to customer schedules, and supply volumes for products that began mass production in the first half are also expected to increase.

The company is also working to strengthen the technological competitiveness of its robot components. HALLACAST Co.,Ltd is planning joint research with government-funded research institutes to secure the high rigidity and heat dissipation characteristics required for robot components. While fulfilling orders for robot components already secured, the company is also pursuing additional orders.

A HALLACAST Co.,Ltd official stated, “While new automotive models contributed steadily to our performance in the first half of the year, the second half will be a period of revenue expansion as mass production of various new products, including robot parts, begins in earnest.” The official added, “We will complete the expansion of our facilities without delay to secure production capacity and continue to strengthen our technological competitiveness in the future mobility and robot parts markets.”
