[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] #Nota Inc., a company specializing in AI model lightweighting and optimization, posted revenue of 7.4 billion won in the first half of this year. While expanding recurring revenue from its existing customer base, the company is broadening its business scope from AI model optimization to data center infrastructure and AI agent operation optimization, aiming to secure new growth drivers.

Nota Inc. announced on the 14th that its consolidated revenue for the first half of 2026 reached 7.41 billion won.

Revenue generated from existing customers accounted for approximately 60% of total revenue for the first half of the year. The company explained that its recurring revenue base is strengthening as follow-up contracts with existing customers continue alongside new projects.

The order backlog also increased. As of the end of the first half, the order backlog stood at over 11.6 billion won, more than double the figure for the same period last year. The company expects that, based on the secured orders, the visibility for future revenue growth will also improve.

Platform Business
Expands
from Mobile and Edge to Data Centers
Nota Inc.’s AI model lightweighting and optimization platform, “Netzpresso,” is expanding its scope of application from its existing focus on mobile and edge devices to data centers and the global AI semiconductor ecosystem.

Building on its track record in the mobile and edge sectors—centered around SamsungElectronics—the company has expanded its business scope into the AI semiconductor and data center sectors this year by securing clients such as Arm, FuriosaAI, and Mobilint.

The company has also expanded the scope of AI models it optimizes. It now includes ultra-large language models (LLMs), such as Upstage’s “Solar Open 2” and Moonshot AI’s “Kimi K3,” within its optimization range.

In particular, the company explained that for Kimi K3—which has 2.8 trillion parameters—it reduced the number of required GPUs from 8 to 4. The company’s strategy is to strengthen its push into the data center AI market by leveraging technology that reduces computational resource and memory demands while maintaining model performance.

Solution Business Focuses on ‘AI Agent Operations Optimization’
In the solution business, the company is expanding its reach into the enterprise AX market.

“Nota Inc. Vision Agent (NVA),” a video surveillance solution based on a Vision Language Model (VLM), is expanding its application areas to include manufacturing, industrial safety, transportation, shipbuilding, and automotive/mobility.

Recently, the company has also entered the enterprise AX market utilizing AI agents. It secured its first commercial case by signing a contract with MetaM, an AI contact center company, to jointly build a next-generation AI consultation system.

In the MetaM project, Nota Inc. is developing a common AI engine to power AI agents, along with orchestration and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies, while applying its own optimization techniques. The key objective is to reduce the computational load and memory requirements associated with operating AI agents.

Building on this, Nota Inc. plans to expand its business into the enterprise AX market across various industries, including manufacturing, finance, and the public sector.

Chae Myeong-su, CEO of Nota Inc., stated, “The first half of this year marked a turning point where we expanded our business beyond mere revenue growth to optimize AI infrastructure, moving from AI model optimization.” He added, “While strengthening our recurring revenue structure based on our existing customer base, we have also established a new growth axis—the optimization of AI agent operations—by expanding our platform into data centers and the global AI semiconductor ecosystem, and our solutions into the enterprise AX market.”

He continued, “In the AI era, simply creating better AI models is not enough.” He added, “Since a company’s ability to operate AI efficiently in actual services is becoming a new competitive advantage, we will lead the enterprise AI infrastructure market by expanding our AI optimization technology across various industries.”
