[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] Singer Park Seo-jin is studying history in honor of Liberation Day.

In the episode of KBS2’s “Men Who Do Housework Season 2” airing on the 15th, Park Seo-jin and her younger sister Hyo-jeong will be seen taking on an 8.15-kilometer “history run” that follows in the footsteps of independence activists.
Park Seo-jin, who has recently developed a keen interest in history, visits Tapgol Park—the starting point of the March 1st Movement—alongside history storyteller Sun Kim. While running in the footsteps of the independence activists, the Park siblings learn about the history woven into various locations. Later, at Seodaemun Prison, they are visibly shocked upon seeing the actual cells where the activists were imprisoned and the harsh conditions they endured. Through this “history run”—where they run, observe, and learn firsthand—the stories of the independence activists that we may not have known before will come vividly to life.

After completing the “history run,” Park Seo-jin said, “I don’t want to stop at just learning history; I want to express my gratitude,” and visited a restaurant run by the descendants of national meritorious figures, spending 815,000 won to coincide with Liberation Day.
To help achieve their goal, Park Seo-jin’s secret allies—students from a middle school ssireum (Korean wrestling) team—also join the effort. Meanwhile, Hyo-jeong, known as the “Mukbang Fairy” for her exceptional appetite, joins in on an epic eating spree. To eat even more, Hyo-jeong even takes an unexpected gamble by resuming her run in the middle of the meal, promising plenty of laughs.
Park Seo-jin has been making headlines recently for visiting rural areas to lend a helping hand, and is exerting a positive influence by striving to improve her spending habits.
