The first set of concept photos, released first, features Kim Hee-jae wearing a black sequined jacket against a backdrop of a space blending red and orange hues. The subtle shimmer of the sequins, intense lighting, and his deep gaze combined to create a sophisticated yet powerful atmosphere. The stylish staging, which made use of light and shadow, complemented Kim Hee-jae’s striking features and captivated viewers. The second concept photo, released shortly after, highlighted a retro mood. In a space filled with various objects such as a vintage TV and CDs, Kim Hee-jae—wearing a sports jersey paired with sunglasses—revealed a free-spirited and stylish charm distinct from the previous image. The addition of colorful lighting and analog props further heightened curiosity about the new musical colors “Reverb” will showcase. Kim Hee-jae’s third full-length album, “Reverb”—a term meaning “afterglow” or “echo”—is set to showcase a deeper musical spectrum and a lingering resonance. Through the concept photos, Kim Hee-jae has effortlessly embodied a wide range of styles—from intense and chic to relaxed yet sophisticated retro vibes—raising anticipation for the musical spectrum he will unveil with this new album, as he seeks to evolve not only musically but also visually. As this is his first full-length album in approximately two years and six months since his second studio album, “Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Happiness,” released in March 2024, Kim Hee-jae is expected to present a highly polished, well-crafted album through “Reverb,” built on his deepened musical sensibility and expanded musical spectrum. Kim Hee-jae’s new album, “Reverb,” will be available on various online music platforms at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th of next month. Ahead of his comeback, Kim Hee-jae plans to build anticipation by releasing content such as the tracklist, preview clips, a highlight medley, and a music video teaser.
