According to the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify on the 14th, the title track “REDRED” from Cortis’s second mini-album maintained its position on the “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart (August 7–13) at No. 181, marking 16 consecutive weeks on the chart.
The song climbed eight spots compared to the previous week, demonstrating its enduring popularity even four months after its release. Additionally, it has held the top spot on the “Weekly Top Songs Korea” chart for 16 consecutive weeks, showcasing its overwhelming popularity. This marks the longest-running No. 1 streak for any K-pop group song on that chart.
The group is also attracting a steady stream of new listeners. Curtis’s monthly Spotify listeners as of the 11th reached approximately 12.93 million. This is the group’s all-time high and ranks among the top three highest figures ever recorded by a K-pop boy group. The figure, which hovered around 7 million in April before the release of their new song, has shown a steep upward trend alongside the popularity of “Red Red.”
On August 1 (all times local), CORTICE performed in front of 50,000 fans at the major U.S. music festival “Lollapalooza Chicago.” Following the performance, their Spotify listener count rebounded. Additionally, the group’s official Instagram account—which recently surpassed 15 million followers—showed a noticeable upward trend on the day of the Lollapalooza performance.
CORTIS is currently on the “2026 CORTIS TOUR ‘PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN’ IN NORTH AMERICA,” which kicked off on the 4th in Toronto, Canada, and will visit six cities across North America. Tickets for the entire tour sold out well in advance, and each performance has been met with enthusiastic cheers and the audience singing along to the Korean lyrics. CORTIS will take the stage in San Francisco on the 15th and 16th for the final shows of their North American tour.
To celebrate their first anniversary, they will host the “2026 CORTIS TOUR ‘PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN’ BIRTHDAY PARTY” at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on the 22nd and 23rd of this month.
CORTIS is running a first-anniversary pop-up store at “Kasina Seongsu” in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, through the 20th. The interior of the pop-up is divided into an exhibition area and a merchandise area, and a 2-meter-tall “CORTIS Ball”—which holds symbolic meaning for both CORTIS and their fanbase, “Core”—has been installed.
