This is five days faster than this year’s top-grossing film, *The Man Who Lives with the King*, which drew 16.91 million viewers and surpassed the 5 million mark on its 18th day in theaters. “The Odyssey” is based on Homer’s epic poem “The Odyssey.” It depicts the journey of Odysseus (Matt Damon), the hero who led the 10-year Trojan War to victory, as he sets out to return to his kingdom, where his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland) await him. According to the Integrated Movie Ticket Network, “The Odyssey” continued its run of popularity, drawing approximately 1.69 million viewers over the three days from the 14th to the 16th. It has held the top spot in advance ticket sales for 15 consecutive days.
