According to his agency, FNC Entertainment (FNC), on the 17th, Jung Hae-in will not attend the press screening for “Agami” scheduled for the 26th.
“Agami” is based on the novel of the same name by author Koo Byung-mo. It tells the story of “Gon,” the only child in a world where gills have emerged. Along with Jung Hae-in, who voices the protagonist Gon, Kang Ha-neul, Lee Chung-ah, Yoo Jae-myung, and Kim Sun-young also participated in the film by providing voice acting.
Previously, Jung Hae-in was scheduled to hold a press interview on the 14th for the Netflix series “Such a Shitty Love,” but canceled the event after his co-lead, Ha Young, became embroiled in controversy over allegations that she is a descendant of pro-Japanese collaborators.
Amid this, when news broke that Jung Hae-in would not attend the press screening for “Agami,” some speculated that it was due to the fallout from the Ha Young controversy. In response, his agency told Edaily that day, “He will be absent due to a pre-scheduled filming schedule.”
