[E-Daily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Integrated IT security firm SGA Solutions Co.,Ltd.(184230)announced on the 14th that, driven by the effects of adding a subsidiary, its consolidated revenue for the first half of this year increased by 309.4% year-over-year to 75.1 billion won, while operating profit reached 2.13 billion won.

The acquisition of Creon Unity last year began to be fully reflected in the consolidated financials starting in the first half of this year, driving revenue growth. Creon Unity recorded revenue of 47.66 billion won and operating profit of 2.95 billion won in the first half.

In its core security solutions business, the company is expanding its integrated security offerings, focusing on server security and access control. This expansion is driven by the increasing sophistication of cyber threats—such as hacking and malware—utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI), as well as growing demand for security due to the expansion of cloud and data center infrastructure.

In the public sector, the company is also responding to increased security demand resulting from the transition to the National Network Security Framework (N2SF). The N2SF is a system that classifies the information systems of national and public institutions according to their security levels and applies security controls accordingly.

Furthermore, SGA Solutions Co.,Ltd. plans to fully address the demand for N2SF and Zero Trust transitions by integrating endpoint, cloud, access control, and account authentication solutions centered on server security. Zero Trust is a security model that does not trust users or devices by default but verifies their permissions and security status with every connection.

SGA Solutions Co.,Ltd. has also laid the groundwork for integrating its product and sales organizations by merging SGN, its system access control subsidiary, with SGA EPS, its endpoint security subsidiary. Since the company proactively invested in expanding its integrated security sales and securing large-scale projects during the first half of the year, its strategy for the second half is to convert these project wins into revenue to boost profitability.

Choi Young-chul, CEO of SGA Solutions Co.,Ltd., stated, “The return to profitability in the first half signifies that the effects of the acquisition of Creon Unity and the reorganization of our business portfolio are beginning to show in our results.” He added, “We will continue to drive earnings growth and improve profitability in the second half by responding to the demand for server security and Zero Trust arising from the sophistication of AI-driven cyberattacks and the transition to N2SF.”
