[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Actor Jung Hae-in reveals his special affection for his much-talked-about “younger brother manager.”
On the upcoming episode of SBS’s “Whenever I Get a Chance,” airing this Tuesday, the 18th, Jung Hae-in and Heo Sung-tae will appear alongside hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok as they visit Dongjak-gu in Seoul. During the episode, Jung Hae-in directly mentions his manager—his younger brother—who has been the subject of much discussion.
Previously, a scene showing Jeong Hae-in’s manager holding a large umbrella over him while getting soaked in the rain was shared on online communities, sparking allegations of “abuse of power.” However, the revelation that the manager was none other than Jeong Hae-in’s own younger brother added a new layer of humor to the situation. On the show, Jeong Hae-in playfully revealed her brother’s identity, saying, “He’s my little sidekick (?) that Mom made,” causing everyone to burst into laughter. She added, “He came with me today, too. We’re always on set together,” revealing that he continues to be a reliable companion in his role as her manager.
At this point, Jeong Hae-in drew attention by showcasing the close bond he shares with his brother, who is both family and a colleague. When Yoo Jae-suk expressed curiosity about the realities of working alongside a sibling, saying, “It mustn’t be easy for your brother to tag along,” Jeong Hae-in revealed his deep trust in his brother, stating, “We both put in a lot of effort. Since my brother knows exactly how my work operates, he’s a great source of support and a huge help.” He went on to express his special affection, saying, “I think our relationship has gone beyond that of family,” to which Yoo Jae-suk reportedly responded, “That’s great, that’s great,” expressing his envy.
“Whenever I Get the Chance” airs on the 18th at 9 p.m.
Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in recently appeared in the recently released drama “Such a Shitty Love.” “Such a Shitty Love” is a romantic comedy depicting the heart-fluttering, sticky-sweet cohabitation of “Go Eun-sae,” a prosecutor suffering from amnesia, and “Jang Tae-ha,” a boxing coach who insists he is her boyfriend. However, the work is being affected by the belated revelation of the pro-Japanese activities of her co-star Ha Young’s great-grandfather, Ahn Sang-ho.
