From Byun Yo-han to Moon Ji-hoon (Swings), the cast members who starred together in “Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub” (Tazza 4) shared these remarks while expressing their thoughts on bringing the series to a close at the production briefing held on the afternoon of the 18th at CGV Yongsan in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
In attendance were Byun Yo-han, Noh Jae-won, Kim Min-ho, Im Se-mi, Moon Ji-hoon (Swings), and director Choi Guk-hee. Ayaka Miyoshi was absent due to health reasons.
“Tazza 4,” the final installment of the “Tazza” series, is a crime thriller in which Jang Tae-young (Byun Yo-han)—who thought he had it all thanks to his online casino business—and his best friend of the same name, Park Tae-young (Noh Jae-won), who took everything from him, meet again on the global gambling scene to settle the score.
Unlike the previous three installments, “Tazza 4” delves deeply into the relationship between the two friends and is known to be the work with the most devoted fan base among the original manga series by author Heo Young-man.
Byeon Yo-han, who plays the lead role of Jang Tae-young, said, “While ‘Tazza 1’ was released in 2006 and the subsequent three films expanded the universe by sharing the same narrative, ‘Tazza 4’ takes place in a completely independent universe.” He added confidently, “Even if you haven’t seen the first three films, you’ll be able to enjoy this one comfortably and focus on our unique story.”

Byun Yo-han also remarked, “Why did Mr. Heo Young-man illustrate *The Song of Beelzebub* differently from Parts 1 through 3? He has always crafted dialogue that pierces the human psyche with precision, and I believe viewers will be able to experience a range of emotions—from desire and greed to others—through the card games.” He added, “I pray for Mr. Heo Young-man’s speedy recovery.”
When asked about what sets “Tazza 4” apart, Director Choi replied, “While the story unfolds around the theme of gambling, just like the previous ‘Tazza’ series, it focuses on the characters’ inner lives, as well as envy, jealousy, and betrayal.”
Byeon Yo-han heaped praise on No Jae-won, who plays Park Tae-young, his co-star, saying, “I think the fit is 200 percent.”
Noh Jae-won said, “I think I was completely absorbed in the original work for a month or two,” adding, “Senior Byun Yo-han was a key influence for me while acting; to me, Byun Yo-han as an actor was Jang Tae-yong himself.”
He continued, “At some point, I felt jealous and wanted to be like him, so I secretly tried to imitate him. I think Senior Byun Yo-han held the key. He helped me a lot with my acting.”

Rapper Swings took on the acting challenge under his real name, Moon Ji-hoon. Moon Ji-hoon, who plays the role of Abraham, completed location shoots in Vietnam. “This is my first movie, so everything was new to me,” Moon Ji-hoon began. He added, “To put it simply, it was so much fun and I’m very grateful.”
When asked about the highlights of *Tazza 4*, Moon Ji-hoon confidently replied, “It’s a film where emotions that should be restrained burst out unfiltered,” adding, “It’s a dopamine rush and incredibly entertaining.”
Im Se-mi, who plays Jang Tae-hee, said, “The characters have diverse facets,” adding, “The female characters who appear all have their own worlds and hearts. I hope you’ll be sure to join us for the finale of ‘Tazza.’”
Kim Min-ho, who plays Hama, showed off his wit, saying, “I think ‘Tazza’ is the perfect word for Chuseok. I hope families gather during the holiday to watch ‘Tazza’ and experience vicarious satisfaction—and that they enjoy the thrill of turning the tables, just like flipping cards.”
“Tazza 4” opens on the 23rd of next month.
