[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Sung Si-kyung and Dindin are joining Disney+’s original variety show “Shinbalstay.”
“Shinpal Stay” is a K-shamanism healing tour in which fortune-tellers with exceptional intuition “check in” on the destinies of international guests. It is a spin-off of “War of Destiny 49”—a show that garnered global attention for K-shamanism and was recognized as Disney+’s flagship variety intellectual property (IP)—produced in collaboration between Disney+ and the production team behind “War of Destiny 49.” “Divine Stay” features an all-star lineup of fortune-tellers with exceptional divine intuition, including “War of Destiny 49” winner Yoon Dae-man, 21-year veteran shaman Lee So-bin, MZ-generation shaman Ji Seon-doryeong, and handsome shaman Maehwa-doryeong. They will not only lead a K-shamanism tour exclusively for international guests but also offer personal counseling, promising experiences unique to “Divine Stay.” The show explains that the mystery of shamanism—revealed through the fortune-tellers’ readings as they delve into each guest’s personal story—and the warmth that soothes emotional wounds will deliver moments that are sometimes surprisingly thrilling and other times deeply moving. Sung Si-kyung, a “well-prepared innkeeper” equipped with exceptional language skills, top-notch cooking abilities, and a relaxed hosting style, will be in charge of running “Shinbal Stay.” Dindin is set to showcase his unique charm and sense of humor that transcends national borders; his warm, approachable care is expected to make guests feel right at home. Meanwhile, “War of Destiny 49” is a thrilling survival show in which 49 fortune-tellers gather to test their destinies through various missions. Since its release last February, it has garnered attention not only in Korea but also in global markets. Riding on this popularity, “Godspeed Stay” reportedly received a flood of applications from 42 countries across six continents, including the United States, Japan, France, Mexico, India, and Rwanda. “Godspeed Stay” is set to premiere in 2027.
