Boy band Stray Kids (Bang Chan, Lee No, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.) shared these remarks on the 18th through their agency, JYP Entertainment, expressing their feelings after successfully topping the U.S. Billboard 200—Billboard’s main album chart—for nine consecutive times.
Billboard announced the previous day that their new album, “THIS & THAT,” had reached the top of the latest Billboard 200 chart. With this achievement, “THIS & THAT” became Stray Kids’ ninth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
The Billboard 200 is a chart that ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. over a single week. Rankings are determined by album unit scores, which combine physical and digital album sales, Streaming Equivalent Albums (SEA)—a metric that converts streaming counts into album sales—and Digital Track Equivalents (TEA)—a metric that converts digital track downloads into album sales.
Stray Kids first tasted the joy of topping the Billboard 200 in 2022 with “ODDINARY.” Since then, they have consecutively debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with “MAXIDENT,” “5-STAR,” “樂-STAR,” “ATE,” “合·HOP,” “KARMA,” and “DO IT.”
Stray Kids is the only group to have placed nine consecutive albums at the top of the Billboard 200, starting with their first entry. They are also the group with the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 since 2000.
With this achievement, they have risen to become the group with the second-most No. 1 albums in the entire history of the Billboard 200, tied with The Rolling Stones. The legendary group The Beatles holds the record for the most No. 1 albums among all artists, with 19.

Stray Kids will hold concerts for their new world tour, “RUN IT,” on the 29th and 30th at MUFG Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.
