Their agency, Make It Studio, stated, “TRYTHAT will embark on their pre-debut activities with the bold ambition to ‘forge our own new path rather than follow a predictable one.’” The title track “Frequency” is a dance-pop song built on a house rhythm. The lyrics explore the fateful moment when two distinct beings resonate on the same frequency and move toward the same direction. Members Han-seo and Min-ha contributed to the lyrics themselves, adding a touch of authenticity. The agency stated, “It’s a song that blends refreshing yet groovy piano riffs with dynamic rhythms,” adding, “Through this song, Try That will convey a message of the infinite possibilities, freedom, and connection inherent in youth.”
