These figures represent increases of 14.0% and 20.4%, respectively, compared to the previous quarter. During the same period, consolidated revenue reached 40.41 billion won, up 12.2% from the previous quarter, while operating profit stood at 280 million won.
The company explained that its performance improved based on growth in its overseas and non-semiconductor segments, before the full effects of expanded capital expenditures by major semiconductor clients such as SamsungElectronics and SK hynix began to materialize. First-half results exceeded the company’s targets, and if the growth momentum continues in the second half, the company expects to achieve its highest-ever revenue since its founding this year.
For the second half of the year, the company forecasts that supplies of HMI and control systems will increase sequentially in line with expanded semiconductor capital expenditures by SamsungElectronics and SK hynix. It also expects that growing demand for related systems—which are implemented from the early stages of semiconductor fab construction—along with improved performance at its subsidiary MX Robotics and synergies with its robotics business, will contribute to further growth.
MX On entered the semiconductor market in 2007, and semiconductor-related revenue now accounts for over 50% of its total revenue. The company plans to sustain its growth momentum through next year, driven by major clients’ expansion of medium- to long-term capital expenditures (CAPEX), the launch of new semiconductor products, and the expansion of its product portfolio. It also expects improved profitability as the burden of fixed costs is alleviated by the expansion of its business scale.

The official continued, “Although our HMI and control systems have already established themselves as essential components in semiconductor production facilities, our market recognition as a semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment company has been relatively low until now.” They added, “By capitalizing on this semiconductor investment cycle and expanding our semiconductor product lineup, we will strengthen our competitiveness in related businesses and solidify our position as a leading semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment company.”
