Japanese actress Sakura Ando stars in the music video. Sakura Ando is an actress who has become familiar to Korean audiences through films such as “Shoplifters,” “The Host,” and “100 Yen Love.”
Some netizens pointed out that Sakura Ando’s great-grandfather was Tsuyoshi Inukai, who served as Japan’s 29th Prime Minister during the Japanese colonial period, and argued that the group should have been more cautious in selecting the lead actress, especially since the music video was released immediately after Liberation Day. They contended that careful judgment was necessary, particularly given the recent controversy surrounding actress Ha Young regarding her status as a descendant of pro-Japanese collaborators.
On the other hand, some argue that it is inappropriate to take issue with the collaboration with Sakura Ando based on the actions of her ancestors.
