[E-Daily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] COPUS KOREA Co., Ltd.(322780)announced on the 18th that Mr. Shin Yi-cheol filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Western District Court seeking a declaration that the company’s issuance of new shares is invalid.
The plaintiff requested that the issuance of 5,716,461 new common shares—issued by COPUS KOREA Co., Ltd. pursuant to a board resolution on June 26—be declared invalid. The par value of the new shares is 500 won per share, and the issue price is 1,312 won per share, bringing the total issuance amount to approximately 7.5 billion won.
The company stated, “We plan to appoint legal counsel and respond in accordance with legal procedures to this lawsuit, which is based on claims that do not align with the facts.”
