The KOSDAQ Rising Star program, operated by the Korea Exchange since 2009, identifies and supports KOSDAQ-listed companies with high growth potential—those that demonstrate strong market dominance in global markets or hold a significant market share in innovative domestic industries.
Selection is made through a deliberation process by a selection committee composed of external experts, following quantitative evaluations based on technological capabilities, global market dominance, growth potential, and management competence, as well as qualitative evaluations involving market dominance verification and interviews with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
TRUEN Co., Ltd is leading the domestic and international AI video security markets with its high-end on-device AI cameras and software such as TAEM (Truen AI Event Manager). The company is expanding its supply not only in the domestic public procurement market but also in major European countries such as the United States and Germany—where there is high demand for alternatives to Chinese video security products—as well as in India.
Furthermore, its high-end product lines, such as the “TA Series” and “TX-8 Series,” are equipped with high-performance AI (artificial intelligence) capabilities and are characterized by the ability to perform various AI video analysis functions directly within the camera itself, without the need for a separate GPU server. Additionally, the TAEM software enables the integrated management and analysis of event data from multiple AI cameras.
A TRUEN Co., Ltd official stated, “Being selected as a KOSDAQ Rising Star for two consecutive years is a result of external recognition of TRUEN Co., Ltd’s unrivaled technological capabilities and growth potential,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our product competitiveness, centered on high-end on-device AI cameras and AI video analytics software, and expand our market share in both domestic and international markets.”
Meanwhile, a total of 18 companies were selected for this year’s KOSDAQ Rising Star program. Selected companies are eligible for a one-year exemption from annual fees and listing fees, as well as support for investor relations (IR) events, the publication of corporate analysis reports, and assistance in connecting with financial institutions.
