It is a palace romance fantasy that follows the story of Empress Latil of the Empire as she brings in male concubines to secure her hold on the imperial throne. Studio Dragon is producing the series, with director Lee Eung-bok—known for *Descendants of the Sun*, *Goblin*, *Mr. Sunshine*, and *Sweet Home*—at the helm, and writer Hwang Jin-young (*Lovers*) serving as the screenwriter.
