On the 19th, the organizers of the “Kimchi & K-Food Festival” announced via their officialsocial mediaaccounts that Gina will participate in the event as a special MC. According to the post, Gina will serve as the special MC for the K-Pop Dance Championship, a side event taking place on the 28th (local time) at Town Center Park in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. Gina expressed her excitement about participating by commenting “Can’t wait” on the post. She also shared the announcement posted by the “Kimchi & K-Food Festival” organizers on her own social media account. Jina is a Korean-Canadian singer who debuted in the music industry in 2010. She gained popularity with songs such as “I’ll Leave You to Live Well,” “Black & White,” and “2HOT,” but suspended her activities in 2016 after being embroiled in allegations of traveling to the U.S. for prostitution. At the time, Jina explained that it was not a transactional sexual encounter, stating that she had met the person “out of mutual attraction,” but she received a summary order imposing a fine of 2 million won for violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts Related to the Facilitation of Prostitution (prostitution).
