[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] RollQ, a subsidiary of 4by4 Inc.(389140) and a comprehensive MCN company, announced on the 20th that its Roblox creator “Samos” visited Dream Love School to talk with students about his work as a creator and career paths.
This event was organized after a student at Dream Love School expressed a wish to meet Samos, whom they had long admired. A teacher, having heard the student’s story, contacted Samos’s team, and the meeting was arranged after Samos agreed to participate. They held a Q&A session with the students about their YouTube activities, the video production process, and the profession of a creator, and shared their own experiences.
Interactive programs with the students were also organized. The three creators used the online gaming platform Roblox to complete various missions with the students and held a gift-giving and autograph session. The school presented Samos with a certificate of appreciation.
RollQ explained that this event served as an opportunity to extend the relationship between creators and fans—which had been formed through online content—into the offline world, and allowed students to directly discuss their career interests and content creation.
Shin Yeon-ha, Deputy CEO of RollQ, stated, “To creators, fans are not simply people who watch their content; they are among the most important factors that keep them creating.” She added, “It was especially meaningful that one student’s heartfelt wish led to an in-person meeting, and that this experience became a cherished memory for other students as well.”
She added, “Going forward, we plan to support our creators so they can build positive experiences with their fans in various ways beyond the online realm, based on their unique content and fanbase.”
