Electronica India is an electronics industry trade show held in Bengaluru, often referred to as “India’s Silicon Valley.” It covers electronic components, systems, applications, and related solutions.
At this exhibition, DB HiTek Co.,LTD will showcase its core business, BCD (Bipolar-CMOS-Discrete) devices, as well as key process technologies and development status for next-generation power semiconductors such as silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN). The company also plans to identify new customers, focusing on local fabless companies.
India is expanding its semiconductor ecosystem based on the government’s policies and investments to foster the industry. As local companies—which have grown primarily through semiconductor design services—expand their business scope to include the development of their own semiconductor products, foundry demand is also expected to increase.
At the exhibition, DB HiTek Co.,LTD will focus on showcasing its power semiconductor process technologies. Its flagship BCD process has recorded cumulative wafer shipments of 9 million wafers. Building on its accumulated mass production experience and process competitiveness, the company is expanding into high-value-added application areas such as the automotive and industrial sectors.
In the next-generation power semiconductor sector, the company will disclose the current status of SiC and GaN process development as well as mass production plans. DB HiTek Co.,LTD recently completed verification of its 1,200-volt (V) SiC MOSFET process and plans to complete verification of its 650-V GaN process by December of this year. The company is currently conducting performance evaluations of products utilizing these processes for its strategic customers.
The company will also introduce specialized image sensor (CIS) technologies—such as X-ray, global shutter, and single-photon avalanche detectors (SPADs)—as well as mixed-signal and radio frequency (RF) process technologies. Through these efforts, the company aims to expand its local customer base and business partnerships.
A DB HiTek Co.,LTD official stated, “India is a market where new business opportunities are expanding as the local fabless sector and semiconductor ecosystem are growing rapidly,” adding, “We will broaden our engagement with local customers and identify new business opportunities based on our competitiveness in power semiconductors and specialized processes.”
