Fable Company, Hong Min-ki’s agency, stated, “In a follow-up post, Ms. A claimed that she confirmed her pregnancy while dating the actor and underwent an abortion, adding that she has medical records and ultrasound images to support this,” and “In fact, around 6:00 a.m. on August 19, 2026, Ms. A sent the actor an ultrasound image along with a message saying, ‘Shut up before I spill everything.’ However, Ms. A had never shown the actor such an ultrasound image before,” the agency explained. They continued, “Since this ultrasound image differs from typical images confirming pregnancy, our agency has requested verification from obstetricians and gynecologists regarding the image sent by Ms. A and plans to submit it as evidence,” “After confirming with the actress, it was found that Ms. A had never shown her a pregnancy test kit, and contrary to Ms. A’s claims, the actress absolutely did not make any remarks urging Ms. A to have an abortion,” asserting that she was not pregnant. The agency countered, “Furthermore, on July 13—the very day Ms. A claims she underwent an abortion—she suggested to the actor that they go cycling together, and when the actor declined, she personally sent a video of herself cycling alone,” adding, “We have secured and are retaining all relevant conversations and videos.” Furthermore, the agency noted, “Pregnancy and abortion are extremely sensitive and serious matters.” It emphasized, “Despite this, Ms. A publicly posted completely false claims on social media—such as that the actress pressured her to have an abortion after confirming the pregnancy—and as a result, the actress has once again suffered severe damage to her reputation and image that will be difficult to recover from.” The agency emphasized, “We will no longer respond by repeatedly refuting the other party’s false claims,” adding, “Based on the evidence we have secured so far, we will immediately proceed with the necessary civil and criminal legal proceedings to ensure that the facts surrounding this matter are clearly established.” Previously, Ms. A claimed she was physically assaulted during a date while in a relationship with Hong Min-ki and revealed that Hong Min-ki had disparaged his actress ex-girlfriend, industry insiders, and fans. In response, Hong Min-ki’s side denied the allegations, stating, “This is not true,” and countered that he was, in fact, the victim of stalking. They hinted at legal action, stating, “We plan to take legal measures related to stalking regarding the repeated contact and approaches made against the actor’s will, and we will take all necessary civil and criminal measures—including defamation charges—against acts that damage the actor’s reputation by publicly disclosing or spreading false information.” In response, Ms. A claimed that she became pregnant while they were dating and that Hong Min-ki pressured her to have an abortion.
