Hantop Inc. Conducts 3.2 Billion Won Third-Party Private Placement for Seokjeong Industry… Raising Working Capital

[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Hantop Inc. ( Hantop Inc.(002680)), which operates in the flour milling and animal feed industries, is conducting a third-party private placement worth 3.2 billion won targeting Seokjeong Industry, an affiliate of its largest shareholder. Under this structure, Seokjeong Industry will acquire new shares in Hantop Inc., and Hantop Inc. will use the proceeds as working capital.

On the 20th, Hantop Inc. announced in a regulatory filing that its board of directors had decided to raise 3.23168 billion won by issuing 1,292,671 common shares through a third-party allocation.

The company announced that it decided to raise 3.2316775 billion won by issuing 1,292,671 common shares at 2,500 won per share.

The recipient of this third-party allocation in the rights offering is Seokjeong Industry. Seokjeong Industry is a related party of Hantop Inc.’s largest shareholder, and Hantop Inc. explained that it selected the recipient to achieve its business objectives and rapidly secure the necessary funds.

The issue price of the new shares is 2,500 won per share, representing a 6.76% premium over the benchmark share price of 2,342 won. The payment date is set for the 31st of this month, and the new shares are scheduled to be listed on September 21. All newly issued shares will be subject to a mandatory holding period of one year from the listing date.

The new shares being issued represent 20% of Hantop Inc.’s total issued shares of 6,463,359 prior to the capital increase. Hantop Inc. plans to use the entire 3,231,677,500 won raised as working capital, specifically for payments for imported raw materials and other purposes.

As of 2025, Seokjeong Industry had total assets of 4.35 billion won, total liabilities of 3.432 billion won, and total equity of 918 million won. During the same period, the company recorded revenue of 522 million won and net income of 10 million won.
