[Edaily Starin, Reporter Gim Ga Yeong ] With 30 days to go until the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, MBC has unveiled a poster featuring the girl group RESCENE, who were appointed as promotional ambassadors.
The poster, released by MBC on the 20th, features the five members of RESCENE gathered together, cheering in their own unique styles. Of the two poster versions, the first shows the members striking a “Yay!” pose while shouting “Nagoya-ho”—RESCENE’s signature catchphrase that is expected to become the most popular slogan of this Asian Games. The second poster shows them holding the MBC mascot, the MBIC doll, and cheering “Fighting!” toward the Taegeuk Warriors.
Ahead of the Asian Games, Lisenne collaborated with MBC to film a variety of content, including official promotional videos, sport-specific introductions, and messages of support for the South Korean national team. These videos will be released sequentially during the Games via MBC’s Asian Games broadcasts, related programs, and digital platforms, and are expected to enhance viewers’ enjoyment of the competition.
They will also appear in the special content series “Top Tutor Lisenne,” featuring MBC’s leading casters and commentators, including Kim Sung-ju and Ahn Jung-hwan. Lisenne members Won-i and Minami will transform into “top tutors” to introduce the culture, landmarks, and key highlights of the Asian Games in the host city of Nagoya and Aichi Prefecture in an easy-to-understand and entertaining way. This content is scheduled to air during major Asian Games broadcasts, including the opening ceremony.
Risenne gained a surge in popularity after leader Won-i visited his hometown of Geoje City last April to film content and was seen shouting “Geoje, Yaho!”—a moment that went viral. Not only did that scene become a viral “meme,” but their song “LOVE ATTACK” has also recently experienced a resurgence in popularity, reaching No. 1 on major music charts.
