On the 21st, Kwon Myung-jun, an analyst at Yuanta Securities Korea, stated, “Consolidated revenue for the second quarter was 71.46 billion won, and operating profit was 15.55 billion won, representing year-over-year increases of 16.5% and 17.3%, respectively,” and “Revenue from the core integrated security systems business reached 57.85 billion won, a 22.5% year-over-year increase, driving the earnings growth,” he analyzed. He further explained, “The expansion of the share of AI-enabled and facial recognition products was a key factor.”
Suprema Inc. also continued to see an upward trend in the proportion of overseas sales. As of the second quarter, the export share exceeded 80%, and the regional breakdown of sales was 23% in Asia, 26.9% in North America, 19.5% in Europe, and 15.3% in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. This is seen as evidence that overseas sales are evenly distributed and not concentrated in any single country. The operating profit margin for the second quarter was 21.8%, an improvement of 0.2 percentage points year-over-year, and the debt-to-equity ratio stood at 10.6%.
Analyst Kwon expects sales of integrated security systems for data centers to expand in the second half of the year. Suprema Inc.’s data center sales rose from 2.5 billion won in 2024 and 3.1 billion won in 2025 to 4.7 billion won in the first half of this year, surpassing last year’s annual sales.
Analyst Kwon stated, “Adoption of the company’s products is increasing in data centers that require top-tier global security ratings,” adding, “Considering the expansion of global investment in data centers, we expect annual revenue to exceed 10 billion won this year.”
For its domestic business, the company cited the concentration of public procurement projects in the second half of the year—particularly in the fourth quarter—as a growth driver. Suprema Inc. maintains the top market share in the domestic public procurement market and expects orders related to large-scale projects centered on national facilities to contribute to earnings growth in the second half of the year.
New business initiatives are also expected to take shape. Suprema Inc. has signed a three-party memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HyundaiMotor and Kia Robotics Lab, as well as HyundaiEngineering&Construction, to enhance residential complexes using service robots. Additionally, the company launched “ViOnyx,” an AI camera equipped with on-device facial recognition, 360-degree imaging, and recognition capabilities up to 7 meters.
Analyst Kwon stated, “ViOnyx has high utility across various areas such as access control, time and attendance, and security,” adding, “Given that it is scheduled for release in the third quarter, we expect to see initial sales in the second half of the year.” He also noted, “Since a high proportion of sales comes from overseas exports, it is necessary to monitor earnings volatility resulting from fluctuations in the won-dollar exchange rate.”
