Trading in KoMiCo Ltd.’s common stock resumed today following its relisting after a stock split. A stock split is a method of increasing the number of shares issued while lowering the par value of each share. Through this stock split, KoMiCo Ltd. expects to lower the minimum trading unit and thereby improve liquidity.
KoMiCo Ltd.’s core business involves precision cleaning and special coatings for equipment components used in semiconductor manufacturing processes. Cleaning involves removing contaminants—such as particles and ionic impurities—from equipment components used in the process and managing component surfaces to meet process specifications. Special coatings reduce particles and defects on component surfaces, thereby enhancing the stability and yield of semiconductor processes.
In particular, as semiconductor processes become increasingly miniaturized and multi-layered, the importance of managing microscopic contamination in equipment components is growing—a key factor given the nature of the business. KoMiCo Ltd. provides solutions that extend the lifespan of equipment components through cleaning and coating, thereby maintaining process yield and productivity.
The company’s financial performance continues to grow. KoMiCo Ltd.’s 2025 consolidated revenue reached 604.1 billion won, and operating profit reached 110.9 billion won, both representing year-over-year increases. By product category, revenue from components totaled 302.7 billion won, from coatings 169.8 billion won, and from cleaning 131.6 billion won.
KoMiCo Ltd. is expanding its business based on the global semiconductor supply chain and plans to enhance its growth potential by advancing its cleaning, coating, and component manufacturing technologies. Additionally, through its corporate value enhancement plan, the company has set targets of 700 billion won in revenue and over 250 billion won in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) by 2027.
Meanwhile, KoMiCo Ltd. was the first company in Korea to commercialize semiconductor component cleaning and coating services in 1996 and has since expanded its business based on these technologies. Currently, the company is engaged not only in precision cleaning and specialty coating but also in the manufacturing of components for semiconductor equipment.
