[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-wook ] SNTEnergy Co.,Ltd. has secured a contract worth approximately 32 billion won to supply air-cooled condensers to SABIC, a Saudi Arabian petrochemical company.
SNTEnergy Co.,Ltd. announced on the 21st that its local Saudi subsidiary, SNT Gulf, has signed a contract with SABIC to supply air-cooled condensers worth $23 million (approximately 32 billion won). The contract period runs from the 20th of this month through March 31 of next year.
This contract is part of a restoration project to completely replace damaged equipment at the olefin plant in the Jubail region of Saudi Arabia, which had suspended operations after sustaining damage during recent conflicts. SNT Gulf plans to manufacture and supply the products directly from its own plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
An SNTEnergy Co.,Ltd. official stated, “We understand there are additional damaged oil, gas, and petrochemical facilities in the Middle East,” adding, “There is a possibility of securing additional orders once reconstruction projects get underway in earnest.”
