[Edaily Reporter SOYEON KIM ] SamsungElectronics has decided to contribute 78.9 billion won as an incentive for small and medium-sized partner companies in its Semiconductor (DS) Division.
On the 21st, SamsungElectronics announced in a regulatory filing that it would contribute to an incentive fund for DS division partner companies. The fund is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are on-site partners of the DS division.
The contribution to the Foundation for Cooperation between Large Enterprises, SMEs, and the Agricultural and Fishery Sectors is intended to prevent workplace accidents, improve quality, and promote win-win cooperation with partner companies.
Safety incentives are scheduled to be paid twice a year, in September of this year and February of next year. Additionally, productivity incentives will be paid once a year, in February of next year. The incentives will be distributed according to partner company ratings based on individual evaluations, while productivity incentives will be provided to companies not eligible for the safety incentives.
