The “DRIP” music video surpassed 400 million views at around 1:53 p.m. that day. This milestone was reached approximately one year and nine months after its release on November 1, 2024.
With this achievement, BABYMONSTER now has its second music video to surpass 400 million views, following “SHEESH.”
“Drip” is a hip-hop dance track based on EDM (electronic dance music). The performance video for this song recently surpassed 200 million views.
BABYMONSTER has over 13 million subscribers on YouTube. This ranks them third among K-pop girl groups, behind BLACKPINK and TWICE.
Baby Monster has a total of 17 videos with over 100 million views each. The channel’s cumulative views have surpassed 9.89 billion, and it is on the verge of breaking the 10 billion view mark.
YG stated, “The strategy of continuously presenting high-quality, original content—led by Chief Producer Yang Hyun-suk to maximize each artist’s unique charm—and expanding engagement with fans is serving as a driving force behind our growing global influence.”
BABYMONSTER has been carrying out its second world tour, “CHOOM,” since last June. On the 22nd and 23rd of next month, they will perform at Kyocera Dome Osaka for the first time since their debut.
