To this end, the company has formed a consortium with leading domestic companies and institutions in the fields of AI services, models, platforms, and infrastructure, and has put forward a “full-stack” strategy.
KTCorporation will oversee the project within this consortium and plans to expand opportunities for utilizing domestic AI technology by leveraging the expertise of each participating company. In particular, the company aims to establish a foundation for AI services that the public can use reliably by combining KTCorporation’s capabilities in telecommunications, cloud, and AI operations.

In the AI infrastructure sector, participants include Rebellion, LabUp, and Vessel AI Korea. The consortium will pool Rebellion’s domestically developed neural network processing unit (NPU), LabUp’s AI computing resource management technology, and Vessel AI Korea’s AI development and operations platform capabilities.
In the AI model and platform sector, participants include Upstage, Motif Technologies, NC AI, and ActionPower. The plan is to establish a foundation for the widespread adoption of AI companies’ differentiated models and platform technologies and to implement AI services.
In the AI services sector, participants including Daum, SALTLUX Inc., Musinsa, Zikbang, ConnectWave, Masspresso, EBS, BC Card, and DeepSearch will collaborate on the development and expansion of services linked to citizens’ daily lives, such as search, shopping, housing, education, and finance.
KTCorporation plans to collaborate with participating companies to enhance public access to AI and ease of use, while contributing to the expansion of domestic AI technologies and services and the revitalization of the AI ecosystem.
In particular, KT plans to advance the integration of technologies within the consortium through “AI orchestration,” laying the groundwork for domestic AI companies’ technologies to be seamlessly incorporated into actual public services and supporting the growth of the AI ecosystem.
Lee Jin-hyung, Head of KTCorporation’s AX Business Division, stated, “By combining the capabilities of Korea’s leading AI companies with KTCorporation’s telecommunications and AI operational expertise, we will work to establish stable and reliable AI services for South Korea.”
