[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] It has belatedly come to light that G-Dragon of the group Big Bang averted a situation during a performance that could have easily led to a major accident. It was a moment when, while executing his choreography on the dazzling stage, he first noticed the danger facing a camera operator who was stepping backward.

On the 23rd, a video titled “G-Dragon Looking Out for the Camera Operator During the Performance” was released on a YouTube channel. The video shows G-Dragon looking out for a camera operator on stage during BIGBANG’s 20th-anniversary concert held on the 21st.
At the time, G-Dragon was approaching the camera to continue the performance when he reached out to the camera operator, who was backing up while focused on filming. He then gently nudged the operator inward to guide them to a safe spot. The action took place in the blink of an eye, without interrupting the flow of the performance.
It was later revealed that this brief moment had actually prevented a fall. The video received a comment from a netizen who identified herself as the camera operator’s wife.
She explained the situation, saying, “My husband told me that G-Dragon saved my husband’s life that day.” She explained that the camera operator, while adjusting the angle and moving backward on a stage about 2 meters high, nearly fell, but G-Dragon noticed this and stopped him.
She continued, “He said that if it weren’t for G-Dragon, he would have fallen off the stage. It really could have been a major accident,” and expressed her gratitude, saying, “My children and I are all Big Bang fans, and we’ve once again been blessed by G-Dragon’s kindness. Thank you once again.”
G-Dragon’s actions are particularly noteworthy because he immediately recognized the danger facing a crew member while continuing his own performance on stage. At large-scale concerts where countless spectators and cameras are focused on the stage, even a minor misstep can lead to an accident. Rather than interrupting the show, G-Dragon naturally guided the camera operator to safety, and this moment was later revealed through footage captured by audience members.
BIGBANG kicked off their 20th-anniversary world tour by holding “BIGBANG 2026–2027 World Tour <XX: Cosmos> in Goyang” at the Main Stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, from the 21st to the 23rd. The concert featured hit songs representing the past 20 years, as well as solo performances by each member and a performance of their new song “Big.”
